At Pain Away Clinic, continuous learning is an important part of our clinic culture.
Recently, Therapist Jay provided a training session for our team on techniques to improve rib mobility and support the function of the autonomic nervous system.
The ribs are closely connected to breathing, posture, spinal movement, and overall body function. When rib movement becomes restricted, it may affect not only the chest and upper back, but also breathing patterns, neck and shoulder tension, and general body balance.
During the training, our staff learned how to assess rib movement more carefully and how to apply gentle manual techniques to help improve mobility. We also reviewed how breathing and rib movement can influence the autonomic nervous system, which is related to relaxation, stress response, recovery, and sleep quality.
By continuing to study and refine our skills, we aim to provide safer, more effective, and more individualized care for every patient.
At Pain Away Clinic, we believe that good treatment is not only about reducing pain temporarily, but also about understanding the root cause and helping the body function better.
We will continue to learn, improve, and provide high-quality care for our patients.
